Since its inception in 1989, Eidsfossfestivalen has made a lasting mark on Norwegian festival culture. Run by the passionate team at Eidsfoss Musikkforening, it is today recognized as one of the country’s oldest and most tradition-rich festivals. In 2021, the association’s dedication to music and culture reached a new high point with the establishment of Eidsfoss Scene – a unique landmark featuring an iconic glass backdrop and breathtaking views of Lake Eikeren. The venue has quickly become a gem for live music experiences in the Vestfold region.

In 2024, we were honored with the task of renewing the festival’s visual identity. The goal was to create a design that both honored the festival’s long-standing history and spirit, while also reflecting the unique atmosphere and scenic surroundings of Eidsfoss Scene. The result was a visual language designed to resonate with both loyal attendees and new festivalgoers – timeless, like the place itself.

Solution

At the heart of the new visual identity is a logo deeply rooted in the essence of Eidsfossfestivalen. Inspired directly by the Eidsfoss Scene, the logo was crafted to capture the magical intersection of grand nature, distinctive architecture, and intimate musical experiences. Elements such as the sunset over Lake Eikeren, seen through the venue’s glass wall, are subtly woven in to reflect the festival’s unique atmosphere and soul.

Result

Built on the foundation of the new visual identity, we developed and delivered a comprehensive range of marketing materials for both the 2024 edition of the festival and the upcoming 2025 event. This includes eye-catching posters, engaging ads across various platforms, and dynamic, tailored content for social media – all designed to elevate the festival’s profile and attract a broader audience.
