SMISO Vestfold (Centre against Incest and Sexual Abuse in Vestfold) is a vital resource in the region. They offer a safe space, professional help, and support to victims of incest and sexual abuse, as well as their relatives. The centre's work is deeply meaningful and requires a visual identity that communicates trust, hope, and professionalism, while also being welcoming and safe for a vulnerable target group.
We developed a visual identity that communicates trust, hope, and professionalism, while also being welcoming and safe for a vulnerable target group. We also developed a design manual that describes how the visual identity should be used across all channels.
The new visual identity for SMISO Vestfold is developed with a strong focus on communicating warmth, safety, and strength. The color palette is carefully selected to signal calmness and hope, while also radiating professionalism. The typography is chosen for its readability and friendly character, making the information accessible and easy to understand. The logo and graphic elements are designed to be both recognizable and symbolic, representing the path to healing, community, and new beginnings.
The result is a holistic and timely visual identity that gives SMISO Vestfold a clear and professional face outward. The new profile should contribute to more victims and relatives feeling safe enough to seek help, while also strengthening the organization's recognition and credibility with partners and the general public. The identity is designed to be flexible and applicable across all channels, from websites and information material to social media, and ensures a consistent and recognizable communication. This project is about more than just design; it's about giving a voice and a visual anchor to an incredibly important social actor.
